Articles - Recyclable Marketing

One of the nice things about article marketing, aside from the fact that it is viral and highly effective, is the fact that it is recyclable. You can use articles over and over again to achieve a variety of goals.

The first method of recycling articles is to rewrite them. Let’s say that you have written and distributed fifty-two articles this year, and now, you need another fifty-two topics for next years articles, but you can’t think of anything additional to write about simply because you’ve covered it all.

Get those old articles, dust them off, freshen them up – rewrite them and give them new titles, and you have your articles for the year. One of the beautiful things about information is that it doesn’t change much – the way that you say it or present it, however, can change as often as you want or need it to.

Those same articles can be used to completely fill up a website with content. They can be shortened or slightly altered for use on your blog as well. In fact, many long time marketers started populating their blogs in this way when blogs first appeared on the marketing scene.

The articles that you have used in the past can be rewritten and sold as PLR articles, which is very big right now. You can pay a writer to rewrite your articles for a couple of dollars each, then turn around and sell the package for twenty bucks – over and over again.

You can create entire products out of your articles as well. Ebooks will always be big on the Internet. You can use several articles to create a free report or short ebook, or hundreds of your articles to create a course, which could sell as a high-ticket item.

The important thing to realize is that you should always save, catalog, and categorize your articles, because there will be further use for them somewhere down the road. Never just delete them! Put them onto a disk for later recycling!
